Extended story — six weeks into a Berlin product search
A mid-level full-stack engineer relocating from Amsterdam started with scattered applications to every Berlin startup on a popular board. Response rate sat near zero. In week one of the flagship engagement we rebuilt the target list around TypeScript-heavy product teams that hire English-first, rewrote the Lebenslauf to lead with recent platform work, and set an eight-application weekly cap.
By week five they held two onsite loops. One offer arrived with a six-month Probezeit and a base below their floor; the readiness review helped them decline cleanly and accept a second package with clearer hybrid language. They still describe the middle weeks as “tedious paperwork” — accurate, and part of why the search succeeded.
